Whole System Support

Amanda looks beyond surface-level issues presenting in her female physio patients to address underlying factors. Apart from drawing from her indepth knowledge of the muscularskeletal system, Amanda's treatment protocals can include acpuncture, cranial therapy, visceral therapy and pilates exercises.

The Whole Alignment

We look at the posture and any  misalignments are inveestigated and root causes are addressed.

The Whole Pressure System

Any blockages or imbalances are identified and treated.

The Viscera

We look at how this is moving and whether that is affecting pressure around the pelvis.

The Cranials

We look at the neualdura, whether the patient has had an epidural or a c-section or tearing from a vaginal birth.

Pelvic Health

She is highly trained in pelvic exams and she can treat a multitude of concerns holistically, using the integrated systems model and cranial therapy treatments in

combination with physiotherapy.

Concerns include:

  • Pelvic pressure or pain

  • Post-natal issues (muscular repair following a C-Section or tearing following a vaginal birth)

  • Pelvic mobility and alignment

  • Weakened Pelvic Floor Muscles

Acupuncture

Amanda is an advanced acupuncturist and she uses acupuncture to complement her physiotherapy practice by relieving pressure and pain in her patients.

She also offers acupuncture to treat fertility issues as it can release blockages in reproductive health.

Client Stories

Our clients share their transformational experiences at The Whole Being Physio, highlighting the effectiveness of our treatments in improving their health and well-being.

"I am an actress, singer, dancer and pilates instructor. I have seen a lot of physios/osteos etc over the years and Amanda is so over qualified and simply fantastic. She is very kind and encouraging with her advice and treatment.

I was referred to Amanda by my sister (also a physio!) as she had been seeing her with fantastic results. Amanda is really experienced and knowledgeable. It means she is so good at figuring out what is causing my pain and incredibly fast at fixing it. She gives you encouragement with long term solutions as well. I have become so much better at caring for my body since seeing her.

She even prompted me to seek further investigation at hospital (MRI / x-ray scan) with one of my problems with my hip. She has perfect instinct and there was indeed something going on!

I couldn't recommend her enough."

"Great physio for post natal women’s health work - also collaborates with an amazing Pilates teacher (Emily Altneu) so can work together pre/post natal in a holistic way. Highly recommended!"

Eloise Barberis Canonico

"I have been struggling with a hip/ pelvic injury for months and got referred to see Amanda. She looked in detail at my alignment and was able to assess imbalances I had that would’ve caused my original injury and contributed to the continued issues I’m having with it.

During the appointments she corrected the imbalances I had in my neck, spine and ribs that were contributing to the pain. I then had an internal pelvic floor assessment to release part of the pelvic floor that had become tight on the side of my injury.
Amanda is very thorough and has really helped me believe that I can get back to a pain free state to participate in my sport. I cannot recommend Amanda enough! Thank you so much."
